Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc., operating as Lawrence Memorials (“Lawrence Memorials,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website, monument inquiries and orders, and customer service text messages. It also explains your communication choices and how to contact us about your information.
Information you provide
Depending on your interaction with us, you may provide your name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, preferred contact method, and details about a quote or order. Order information may include memorial inscriptions, photographs or artwork, cemetery and installation details, approval instructions, and payment or billing status. We also receive the information you include in emails, text messages, forms, and conversations with our staff.
When you agree to receive texts, we maintain information about that permission and your messaging preferences. Message records may include the sending and receiving numbers, message content, timestamps, delivery information, and requests to stop or resume messages. Please avoid sending payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information by ordinary text message.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare requested quotes, process orders, coordinate designs and proof approvals, provide order and installation updates, communicate about payments, and answer customer questions. We also use relevant records to maintain accurate business information, document communication preferences, address disputes, protect our services, and meet applicable obligations.
Our customer service SMS program covers monument inquiries and orders. It does not include promotional offers. Providing a phone number or making an inquiry does not by itself enroll you in this program; we ask for your permission to send texts.
Service providers and other disclosures
We may share information needed to perform services with providers that help operate our website, communications, business systems, payments, monument production, or installation. For example, a messaging provider processes telephone numbers and message information to transmit and support our texts. We limit these disclosures to the purposes for which the information is needed.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security. We do not authorize service providers to use SMS consent information for their own marketing.
SMS privacy
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS consent and opt-in records are excluded from any sharing for third-party or affiliate marketing. Providers that support delivery, security, and operation of our messaging program may process this information only to provide those services.
Your choices
Reply STOP to opt out of customer service texts. We may send one final message confirming your request, after which further program messages will stop unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email info@lawrencememorials.com. Declining or stopping texts does not prevent you from requesting a quote or purchasing a monument. We can communicate through other available channels.
You may contact us to request access to or correction of information you provided, ask about its use, or request deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to be retained to complete an order, maintain required records, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. We may keep a limited record of an opt-out to honor your preference.
Website information and external services
Website hosting and related technical services may process information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages requested, and visit times. Cookies or similar technologies, where used, help website functions operate. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking them may affect website features. This policy does not authorize using SMS consent information for advertising.
If you follow a link to an external website or use a separate third-party service, that provider has its own privacy practices. Review its policy before providing personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of ongoing orders, business records, legal requirements, and disputes. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Policy changes and contact

The following information explains how the memorial studio, design submissions, and inquiry forms work alongside the business privacy policy above.
Free access to the studio
You can begin exploring the studio immediately. After approximately 30 seconds of active use, continuing requires your email address, cell phone number, and permission for Lawrence Memorials to contact you about your memorial idea. There is no charge or purchase commitment. The studio preserves your current design while you complete this step.
What you share with Lawrence Memorials
The free-access form saves your email, cell phone number, contact consent, and a snapshot of your current design for the authorized Lawrence Memorials reviewer. A lead notification is addressed to info@lawrencememorials.com. When email delivery is connected, its service processes the notification to send it to Lawrence Memorials. Completing this form does not verify ownership of your email address or phone number and does not enroll you in the separate Customer Care SMS program or an automated marketing-text program.
When you submit a finished idea or inquiry, the site also saves your name, cemetery information, message, and any reference image you choose to provide. A studio submission includes your design choices and a captured preview. Your original reference or portrait image is stored separately from that preview. You can also use Submit a design to send a sketch, photograph, or design image without creating a concept in the studio. Design ideas and contact information are not posted in the public collection.
Each saved studio design, uploaded design idea, or consultation request also prepares a notification to info@lawrencememorials.com. When a verified email sender is connected, its service processes the contact details, design information, and message in that notification. Uploaded images remain in the private review inbox. Your request stays available for review if notification email is delayed or unavailable.
Drafts and access on your device
Gallery favorites and design drafts are stored in your browser. The studio also saves a draft when the free-access form opens and remembers the amount of active trial time used during your browser session. These drafts may include names, dates, and words you enter on the monument. Contact-form email and cell phone details are not stored in these browser drafts.
After your details are saved, an essential, server-issued cookie remembers free studio access for up to 30 days on that browser. Clearing browser data can remove this access and your drafts. Uploaded images are not included in a locally saved draft; attach your image again before submitting after a return visit.
When you submit
A successful submission creates a reference and saves the information for review. You can upload one JPG, PNG, or WebP reference image up to 4 MB; a studio submission saves its captured preview separately. The confirmation acknowledges a saved request and does not guarantee email delivery or a response time. It does not place an order or accept a quotation. Every family is welcome. Lawrence Memorials serves all cemeteries throughout Central Alabama, whether you chose our funeral home or another provider.
From a concept to a memorial
The online preview is an illustrative starting point. Natural granite, screen colors, engraving, dimensions, proportions, and artwork may differ from the final memorial. Final design, pricing, availability, cemetery requirements, and project arrangements are confirmed with Lawrence Memorials before an order.
Images, artwork, and design tools
Upload only reference images you have permission to share. The MARTIN homepage hero is labeled as a design concept and does not represent a completed Lawrence installation or an exact stock product. The collection illustrates memorial styles and personalization available through Lawrence Memorials. Photographs and artwork help you choose a direction; your final memorial is developed with our design team. The studio includes licensed Design Mart artwork alongside concept shapes and simple symbols. Final production artwork, construction, and installation are reviewed with Lawrence Memorials.
Laser etching artwork with a black background is for black granite only. Two-dimensional line designs are for sandblasting and are available for the other granite colors. The current library contains 1,846 Design Mart laser etching previews, one licensed Design Mart sandblast cross, and six built-in line motifs. The studio separates these choices by technique, and our team reviews the final production artwork.
If you choose an available supplier-hosted designer, that service opens separately and operates under its own terms and privacy information. Your Lawrence studio design is not automatically transferred to a separate supplier service.
