A simple form with personal possibilities
A flat granite marker can be designed for an individual or as a wider companion tribute. Borders, flowers, faith symbols, or an epitaph can make the layout personal without crowding the names and dates. The available space guides the size of the lettering and the amount of artwork.
Our designers help you consider the marker as a complete composition. A large family name, a short message, and a carefully chosen emblem may convey more than a crowded arrangement of smaller details.
Granite and bronze are different choices
Granite markers carry the inscription in the stone. Bronze memorials offer raised lettering and ornamentation, often coordinated with a granite base. If you are considering both, we can help you compare their appearance and the layout options for your cemetery.
For granite, sandblast line designs can be used across the color selection. Detailed laser etching is reserved for black granite. A photo cameo may be another way to include a portrait; its size and placement are reviewed as part of the final design.
Confirm the cemetery’s requirements first
A cemetery or individual garden may specify a flat memorial, its dimensions, its thickness, and how it must be set. A low profile alone does not mean another marker style is acceptable. Share the cemetery and grave location so we can review the relevant requirements before you approve the memorial.
We also discuss the foundation, placement, and any vase arrangement. Those choices should be settled with the design rather than left until installation.
