Let the personal meaning lead
A distinctive outline can be as meaningful as a written inscription. A heart, an angel, or a symbol connected to someone’s life can become the focus. We also consider how that shape will frame the name, dates, and words, keeping the memorial readable and balanced.
You do not need a finished drawing to begin. A reference photograph, a rough sketch, or a short explanation can help our designers understand what matters. Tell us which parts you love and which details you would like to change.
Bring the form, stone, and artwork together
The shape, granite, surface finish, and artwork should be planned as one composition. A polished inscription panel can be paired with sculpted or textured areas, while the base and any accessories help complete the arrangement.
Sandblast line artwork is available across our granite colors. Detailed black-background artwork is for laser etching on black granite only. If you want a portrait on another color, discuss a photo cameo with our team. We help select the appropriate approach for the memorial rather than treating every image the same way.
Use a concept to start a real conversation
Our online designer lets you explore a general form and arrange personal details. Submit that concept or upload your own reference for review. The final custom outline, sculpture, lettering, dimensions, and construction are developed with our team.
We also review cemetery requirements and prepare an individual quotation. Your final proof brings the agreed design together before an order proceeds, with Lawrence Memorials guiding the project through installation.
Lawrence Memorials serves all cemeteries throughout Central Alabama from Selma. You can work with our designers whether you chose our funeral home or another provider.
